Special Films for the exhibition “Japanese Animated Films”
It was completed that ANIDO produced “jumble” short animation films!
Nihon Manga-eiga Hattatsu-shi
(development history of Japanese animation)
This film is educational animation, in which ANIDO selected a great scene from the various Japanese animation films including that of before World War two, Toei Animation Studio, Studio GHIBLI and re-constructed. In the film a main character “Professor Manga-Eiga” introduced these wonderful animation films and told us how animation is wonderful.
This 16mm film was produced for a one of the contents of the exhibition in Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo in 2004, which was named “Japanese Animated Films : A Complete View from their Birth to “Spirited Away” and beyond “. To screen it, we made the special projector, which starts automatically every 15 minutes!
