STEPS OF ANIDO 1970 – 1979
1970
Jul.: “Mr. Masaki Tsuji seminar” by the kindness of Mr. Tsuji who was famous scenario writer, ANIDO borrowed a meeting place of his apartment house, but put him into trouble by unmannerly members.
Oct.: Each group in Tokyo, Shizuoka, Nagoya and Osaka assembled and then “the 1st Anime soukai/a General meeting” was held in Daijoji, Nagoya. From then on “Anime soukai” was taken round in each place to be held every year. People who attended The first general meeting saw “The Collection of Puppets Animation”,

Feb.-Jun.: ANIDO screened the works of Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Czechoslovakia, as Special European Program, with the cooperation of each embassy.
Oct.: “The 2nd Anime sokai” in Shizuoka. Jiri Trnka’s “BAJAJA” was screened for the first time.

We held substantially “Shinjuku Anime-Land”‘s 11 program by the name of ‘NIHON Animation Kyokai”that was in reactivity. The guests were Hiroshi Sasagawa, Taiji Yabushita, Akio Sugino, Tadao Nagahama, REnzo Kinoshita, Yoshi-kazu Yasuhiko, Sadao Miyamoto, yoichi Kotabe, yoji Kuri and Osamu Tezuka and so on. It’s splendid members. In June, we held a lecture Meeting of Mr.Ward.Kimball,the Disney Legend. We cought Mr.Kimball traveled in Japan.And the secret(?) of Mickey’s ear was opened to the public.
