In April, “Mr.Shinichi Suzuki’s memory of 25years as a film maker” was held in Yasuda Hall at where the guests, Japanese famous cartoonists met together. In August, “Mr. Ollie Johnston and Mr. Frank Thomas’ Lecture Meeting” was held in Tokyo. We invited famous animation directors of Disney with cooperation of Mr. S. Suzuki.

Jan. “The World of Kihachiro Kawamoto” was planned in memory of his VARNA’81 Granprix. It was full, because of his appearance on TV program. ANIDO participated preview of “Goshu, the Cellist” and screened in addition “A Hedgehog in the Mist” which was unknown at that time in Japan.
